What's Happening At Church

NEW PHOTOS

New photographs of our 2006 Vacation Bible School are here.  If you're looking for pictures of LiveGod24/7's recent canoe trip on the Youghougheny River, they're here.  And for good measure, here are a few shots of elder Boyd Marsteller's 80th birthday party, held in the church fellowship hall.

WHAT HAPPENED AT GA

Wondering what all the fuss in the newspaper was about?  Read the pastor's letter about the actions of the General Assembly here.

SUMMER WORSHIP HOURS

Beginning the first week of July, Sunday morning worship will move to 10 am, and there will be no Saturday evening service.  Saturday services will return in September.

HEY MOMS!

  Do You:

  • Think spaghetti is a finger food?
  • Sleep like a baby (up at 10, 2 and 4)?
  • Write your grocery list in crayon?
  • Say "bye bye" to everyone?

We have the cure!  A newly chartered MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) group is coming this fall to First Presbyterian Church.  Mothers with children from birth through kindergarten are invited to join the girls for teaching, discussion, creative projects and presentations, and a little support.  For more information, contact Stacey Hillman at 724-239-4745.

GOT PAPER?

The church can take it off your hands.  A new paper recycling bin is located at the rear of the church.  All paper products can be recycled except phone books and cardboard.  For information, call the church office.  Proceeds benefit the MOPS group.

BOWLERS WANTED

A men's bowling fellowship meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at Tan-O-Bell Lanes on Main Street in Bentleyville.  A brief devotion is offered between games.  All men are welcome to join.
